It was super unusual going back into a home again after living in an RV for nearly 10 months! There are advantages and disadvantages. I don't miss cleaning a huge house lol. I do enjoy a big bath tub!
Our repairs took longer than expected. They actually took more than twice the expected amount of time. This seems to be a common occurrence with RV repairs. We weren't really ready for that! Especially because we bought a brand new unit when we put our home up for sale.
This is one of the challenges of being a full time RV-er. You will need to be flexible! When a traditional home needs repaired, someone comes to you. That is not always the case when you live in an RV. Your home may need to go in the shop.
We made the most of it. We rented a furnished house in our area and treated the whole experience like a vacation. Aaron had a birthday, I had a minor surgery, we had a whole lot of life happen during our "staycation".... both good and not so good stuff. That's life though right?! The ability to be flexible and adjust to change is necessary for a good life! Its especially necessary for RV life.
